पति अपनी पत्नी का हक पूरा करें और वैसे ही पत्नी भी अपने पति का पत्नी को अपने डे का अधिकार नहीं कर उसके पति का अधिकार है वैसे ही पति को भी अपनी देह का अधिकार नहीं परंतु पत्नी को जिनका विवाह हो गया है उनको मैं नहीं वरन प्रभु आ गया देता है की पत्नी अपने पति से अलग ना हो हे पटिया अपने पति कैसे अधीन रहोगी से प्रभु के हेपिटियों अपने-अपने पत्नी से प्रेम रखो जैसे मसीह ने भी कलीसिया से प्रेम करके अपने आप को उसके लिए दे दिया भली स्त्री अपने पति का मुकुट है परंतु जो लज्जा के काम करते हैं वह मानव उसकी हड्डियों के सड़ने का कारण होती है इस प्रकार से स्त्रियों को भी गंभीर होना चाहिए दोस्त लगने वाली ना हो पर सचेत और सब बातों में विश्वास योग्य हो वैसे ही है हे पतियों तुम भी बुद्धिमानी से पत्नियों के साथ जीवन निर्वाह करो और स्त्री को निर्मल पत्र बना जानकर उसका आदर करो यह समझकर कि हम दोनों जीवन के वर्ण के तरह से जिससे तुम्हारी प्रार्थना रुक ना जाए हर बुद्धि स्त्री अपने घर को बनती है पर मोती स्त्री उसको अपने ही हाथों से उठा देती है भली पत्नी कौन पा सकता है क्योंकि उनका मूल मांगों से भी बहुत अधिक है उसके पति के मन में उसके प्रति विश्वास है और उसे लाभ की घाटी नहीं होती वह अपने जीवन के सारे दिनों में उसे बुरा नहीं वरना भला ही व्यवहार करती है वह बुद्धि की बात होती है और उसके वचन कृपा की शिक्षा के अनुसार होते हैं वह अपने घर आने के चाल चलन को ध्यान से देती है और अपनी रोटी बिना परिश्रम नहीं खाती उसके पुत्र उठाकर उसकी डालने कहते हैं उनके पति भी उठाकर उसकी ऐसी प्रशंसा करते हैं बहुत सी स्त्रियां ने अच्छे-अच्छे काम तो किया परंतु तू उन सब में श्रेष्ठ है शोभा तो झूठी और सुंदरता व्यर्थ है परंतु जो स्त्री यह हुआ का भाई मानती है उसकी प्रशंसा की जाए उसके हाथों में परिश्रम का फल उसे दो और उसके कार्यों से सभा में उसकी प्रशंसा होगी पारण पर तुम में से हर एक अपनी पत्नी को अपने सामान प्रेम रखें और पत्नी भी अपने पति का भाई मन है राजकुमारी सुन और कान लगाकर ध्यान दे अपने लोगों और अपने पिता के घर को भूल जा और राजा तेरे रूप की छह करेगी क्योंकि वह तो तेरा प्रभु है तू उसे दंडवत कर ही पटिया तुम भी अपने पति के अधीन रहो इसलिए कि यदि इनमें से कोई ऐसा हो जो वचन को न मानते हो तो भी तुम्हारे भाई सहित पवित्र चाल चलन को देखकर बिना वचन के अपने-अपने पत्नी के चाल चलन के द्वारा की जाएगी और तुम्हारा सिंगर दिखावटी ना हो अर्थात बाल धोने और सोने के गाने या भाटी भांति के कपड़े पहनना वर्णन तुम्हारा छिपा हुआ और गुप्ता मनुष्यता नम्रता और मां की दीनता और अविनाशी सजावट के सुजीत रहे क्योंकि परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में इसका मूल बहुत बड़ा है यदि कोई अकेले पर प्रबल हो तो परंतु दो उसका संभाना कर सके जो डोरी तीन धागे से बाती हो वह जल्दी नहीं टूटती है पत्तियों जैसा प्रभु में उचित है वैसा ही अपने-अपने पति के अधीन रहो है पतियों अपने अपने पत्नी से प्रेम रखो और उनसे कठोरता ना रखो सो मैं चाहता हूं कि हर जगह पुरुष बिना क्रोध और विवाद के पवित्र हाथों को उठाकर प्रार्थना किया करें और स्त्री को चुपचाप बुरी अधीनता में सीखना चाहिए और मैं कहता हूं कि स्त्री ना उपदेश करें और ना पुरुष पर आजा चलाएं परंतु चुपचाप रहे घर और धन पुरखों के भाग में परंतु बुद्धिमती पत्नी यहोवा ही से मिलती है
