यदि कोई मनुष्य बल था भेद हुआ बकरी चुरा कर उसका घाट करेवा भेज डाले तो वह बैल की सती पांच बैल और भेड़ बकरी की सती कर भेड़ बकरी भर दे यदि कर सेंड लगाए हुए पकड़ा जाए और उसे पर ऐसी मार पड़ेगी वह मर जाए तो उसकी खून का दोस्त लगे यदि सूर्य निकल चुके तो उसके खून का दोष लगे आवश्यक है वह हनी को भर दे और यदि उसके पास कुछ ना हो तो वह छोरी के कारण बेच दिया जाए यदि चुराया हुआ बैल हुआ गड़ा हुआ वह भेद व बकरी उसके हाथ में जीवित पाए जाए तो वह उसका दोनों भर दे यदि कोई अपने पशु से किसी का खेत हुआ दाग की बड़ी चढ़ाई अर्थात अपने पशु को ऐसा छोड़ दे कि वह पढ़ाई खेत को कर ले तो वहां अपने खेत को और अपनी दास की परी की उत्तम से उत्तम उपज में से उसे हनी को भर दे यदि कोई आग जलाई और वह काटो में लगाया जाए फूलों के ढेर वह अनाज वह खड़ा खेत जल जाए तो जिससे आग जलाई हो वह आने को निश्चय भर दे यदि कोई दूसरे को रुपए या सामग्री के धरोहर धरे और वह उसके घर से चुराई जाए तो यदि चोर पकड़े जाएं तो दोनों उसको भर देना पड़े और यदि कर ना पड़े जाए तो वह घर का स्वामी परमेश्वर के पास लाया जाए कि निश्चय हो जाए कि उसने अपने भाई बांधों की संपत्ति पर हाथ लगाया है वह नहीं चाहे बेल चाहे गधे चाहे भेद हुआ चाहे बकरी चाहे वस्त्र चाहे किसी प्रकार की ऐसी कोई ही वस्तु के विषय अपराध क्यों ना लाया जाए जिससे दो जान अपने-अपने रहते हो तो दोनों का मुकदमा परमेश्वर के पास आए और उसका परमेश्वर दोषी उठा रहा है वह दूसरों को गुना भर दे यदि कोई दूसरे को गढ़ा हुआ बैल का भेड़ बकरी का कोई और पशु रखने के लिए रुपए और किसी के बिना देखे वह मर जाए तो वह चोट खाए था आज दिया जाए तो उसे दोनों के बीच हुआ की शपथ खिलाई जाए कि मैं उसकी संपत्ति पर हाथ नहीं लगाया तब संपत्ति का स्वामी उनको सच मान्य और दूसरों को उसे कुछ भी भर देना ना होगा यदि वह सचमुच उसके यहां से चुराया गया हो तो वह उसके स्वामी को उसे भर दे और यदि वहां खाना डाला गया हो तो वह भरे हुए को प्रमाण के लिए आए तब उसे उसकी भी भर देना पड़ेगा फिर यदि कोई दूसरे पशु मांग ले और उसके स्वामी के संग ना रहते उसको लौट लगे वह मर जाए तो वहां नीचे उसकी नानी भर दे यदि उसका स्वामी सॉन्ग हो तो दूसरों को उसकी नानी भरना ना पड़े और यदि वहां भाड़े का हो तो उसकी नानी उसके बारे में आ गई यदि कोई पुरुष किसी कथा को कन्या इसका विवाह की बात ना लगी हो खुजलाकर उसके संग कुकर्म करें तो अनिश्चा ही उसका माल देकर उसे विवाह ले परंतु यदि उसका पिता उसे देने की बिल्कुल इनकार कर तो वह कम करने वाले कामयाब के मूल की रीति के अनुसार रुपए तोला तो दी को जीवित रहने ना दे जो कोई पशु गण करके वह निश्चय मार डाला जाए जो कोई यहोवा की छोड़ किसी और देवताओं के लिए पाली करें वह सत्यानाश किया जाए और परदेसी को ना सताना और ना उसको अंधेरा करना क्योंकि मित्र देश में तुम भी परदेसी थे यदि किसी भी दुआ ए अनार बालक को दुख ना देना यदि तुम ऐसा कोई किसी प्रकार का दुख दो और वह कुछ भी मेरी दुहाई ना दे तो मैं नीचे उसकी दुहाई सुनाऊंगा तब मेरा क्रोध भरकेगा और मैं तुमको तलवार से मारूंगा और तुम्हारी पत्नियों विधवा और तुम्हारे बालक अनाथ हो जाएंगे यदि तू मेरे प्रजा में से किसी दिन को जो तेरे पास रहता हो रुपए का ऋण दे तो उसे महज की नई ब्याज ना दे लेना यदि तू कभी-कभी अपने भाई बांधों के वस्त्र को बंधक करके अब भी ले तो सूर्य के अस्त्र होने तक उसको लौटा देना क्योंकि वह उसका एक ही तोड़ना है उसकी दे वह वही अकेला वस्त्र होगा फिर वह किसी मोड़ सोए तो भी जब वह मेरी दुहाई लगा दे तब मैं उसकी सुनेगा क्योंकि मैं तो करुणा में हूं परमेश्वर को श्राप न देना और ना अपने लोगों के प्रधान का श्राप देना अपने खेतों की उपज और फसलों की रस में से कुछ मुझे देने में विलंब न करना अपने बेटों में से बैठा हूं को मुझे देना वैसे ही अपने गायों और भेड़ बकरियों के पठानों को देना 7 दिन तक तो बच्चा अपनी माता के संग रहे और आठवीं दिन तो से मुझको दे देना और तुम मेरे लिए पवित्र मनुष्य बनाना इस कारण जो पशु मैदान में खड़ा हुआ पड़ा है मिलने उसका मांस ना खाना उसको कुत्तों के आगे फेंक देना

If a man steals a goat and sends it to the slaughterhouse, he must pay the tax of five bulls for the bull and the tax of a sheep for a goat. If he is caught while paying the tax and if he dies, he must pay the tax for his blood. If the sun has risen, he must pay the tax for his blood. If he has nothing, he must sell it for a girl's sake. If the stolen bull or goat is found alive in his hands, he must pay for both. If someone leaves his animal in someone's field, that is, a big climb, that is, his animal, so that it can study, he must pay for it from the best produce of his field and his servant's wife. If a fire is lit and it is planted in a field, a pile of flowers, grain, or standing field, then the one who lit the fire must pay for it. If someone leaves money or material in trust for another and it is stolen from his house, if the thief is caught, he must pay for both. If the tax is not levied, the owner of the house must be brought to God. If it is proved that he has laid his hands on the property of his brother, whether it be a bull, a donkey, a goat, a garment, or any other thing, for which two lives are saved, then the case of both should come before God, and God will bear the guilt, and he should compensate the other. If someone gives money to another for keeping an ox, a sheep, a goat, or any other animal, and it dies without anyone seeing it, then he should be made to swear between them that he did not lay his hands on the property. Then the owner of the property will be considered true, and the other will not have to pay anything to him. If it was indeed stolen from him, he should compensate the owner. If food was placed there, he should bring the money for it as proof, and he will have to pay for it also. If someone asks for another animal and it dies while not with its owner, then he should compensate for its cost if its owner is a donkey, then others will not have to pay for it. If it is a hired animal, then its cost is taken away from him. If a man does not like the idea of marriage and commits adultery with a girl, then he should certainly give her his property and marry her. But if her father absolutely refuses to give her to the bride, then he should weigh the money according to the custom of the root of the curse, and the bride should not be allowed to live. Whoever slaughters animals should surely be killed. Whoever feeds animals for gods other than the Lord should be destroyed. Do not harass a foreigner or harm him, for you were also foreigners in a friendly land. If you cause any such child any harm and he does not cry out to me, then I will make his cry below, then my anger will be aroused and I will strike you with the sword, and your wives will become widows and your children orphans. If you lend money to any of my people who live with you, do not charge him mere interest. If you ever take the clothes of your brothers as mortgage, then return it to him by the time the sun rises, for that is only one break. Give him that single garment. Even if he lies down somewhere, when he cries out to me, I will hear him, for I am full of compassion. Do not curse God or curse the leader of your people. Do not delay in giving me any of the produce of your fields and the juice of your crops. Give me the children of your sons who are sitting here, and likewise give me the children of your cows and sheep and goats. The child should stay with its mother for seven days, and from the eighth day onwards, give it to me. You must make a holy man for me. Therefore, do not eat the meat of any animal that is found standing in the field; throw it to the dogs.
