जो जो आ गया मैं आज तुझे सुनाता हूं उन सबों पर चलने की चौकसी करना इसलिए कि तू जीवित रहो और बढ़ते रहो और जिस देश के विषय में यह हुआ तुझे पूर्वजों से शपथ खाई है उनमें से जाकर उसके अधिकारी हो जाओ और स्मरण रख की तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा 39 वर्षों में तुझे सारे जंगल के मार्ग में से इसलिए ले आया कि वह तुझे नम्र बनाएगा और तेरी परीक्षा करके यह जान ले कि तेरे मन में क्या-क्या है और यह तो उसके आज्ञाओं का पालन करेगा वह नहीं उसे तुझको नम्र बनाएगा और भूमि में होने दिया फिर वह मंत्र जिससे ना तो और ना तेरे पूर्वज ही मानते थे वह तुझको सीख लेगा इसलिए कि वह तुझको सीखना आएगा कि मनुष्य केवल रोटी ही से जीवित रहता है परंतु जो जो वचन की हवा के मुंह से निकलते हैं उनसे वह जीवित रहता है इन 40 वर्षों में तेरे वस्तु पुराने ना हो का तेरे मन में भी नहीं गिरे और ना तेरे पांव फूल फिर अपने मन मे यह तो विचार कर की जैसा कोई अपने बेटे को ताड़ना देता है वैसे ही तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा तुझको तैरना देता है इसलिए अपने परमेश्वर यह हुआ की आज्ञा का पालन करते हुए उसके मार्ग में चलना और उसका भाई मानते रहना क्योंकि तेरा परमेश्वर यह हुआ तुझको एक उत्तम देश में लिए जा रहा जो जल की नदिया का और तराई और पहाड़ से निकले हुए गहरी गहरी सोतन का देश है फिर वह गेहूं के दास लता अंजीरों और अंगारों का देश और तेल वाली जलपाई और मधु का भी देश उसे देश में अंतर की महंगाई ना होगी और ना उसमें तुझे किसी पदार्थ की घाटी होगी वहां के पत्थर लोहे लोहे के हैं और वहां के पहाड़ों में तो तू तांबा खुद निकल सकेगा और तू पेट भर आएगा और उसे उत्तम देश के कारण जो तेरा परमेश्वर ही हुआ तो उसको देगा उसका धन्य मानेगा इसलिए सावधान रहना कहीं ऐसा ना हो कि अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा को भूलकर उसकी जो जो आ गया नियम और विधि में आज तुझे सुनाता हूं उनका मन छोड़ देगा ऐसा ना हो कि जब तू खाकर तृप्त हो और अच्छे-अच्छे घर बनाकर उनमें रहने लगे और तेरी गाय बैलों और भेड़ बकरियों की बढ़ती हुई तेरा सोना चांदी और तेरा सब प्रकार का धन बढ़ जाए तब तेरे मन में अहंकार समा जाए और तू अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा को भूल जाए तो तुझको दास वाद के घर अर्थात मित्र देश किस निकाल लाया है और उससे बड़े और भयानक जंगल में से ले आया है जहां तेरा विषय वाले सर पर बिच्छू है और जल रहित सुख देश में उसमें तेरे लिए चमक की चट्टान से जल निकाला और तुझे जाल में मंत्र खिलाया और तुझे पुरखा जानते ना थे इसलिए कि वह तुझे नम्र बने और तेरा परीक्षा करके अंत में तेरा भला ही करें और कहीं ऐसा ना हो कि तू सोने लगे कि वह संपत्ति मेरे ही सहमत और मेरे ही पूजा बाल से तुझे प्राप्त हुई है परंतु तू अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा को इस्मरण रखना क्योंकि वही जो तुझ से संपत्ति प्राप्त करने में समर द इसलिए देता है कि जो वचन उसने तेरे पूर्वजों से शपथ खाकर बांधी थ उसको पूरा करें जैसे आज प्रकट है यदि तू अपने परमेश्वर यह हवा को भूलकर दूसरे देवताओं के पीछे ले लिया और उसकी उपासना और उसके धन्यवाद करें तो मैं आज तुम को चिंता देता हूं कि तू नहीं संदेश नष्ट हो गया है जिस जाति को यह हुआ तुम्हारे समझ से नष्ट करने पर है वही कि नहीं तुम भी अपने परमेश्वरी हुआ का वजन न माने के कारण नष्ट हो जाओगे

Whatever I am telling you today, be careful to follow them so that you may live and multiply. Go in and possess the land that you swore to your ancestors about. Remember that the Lord your God led you through the wilderness for 39 years, to humble you and test you to know what was in your heart. And it was because you would obey his commands that he would humble you and let it be in the land. Then you will learn the law that neither you nor your ancestors followed. So that you will learn that man lives on bread alone, but by the words that come out of his mouth. Do not let your things wear out during these 40 years, so that your heart does not sag, and your feet do not swell. Consider in your heart that the Lord your God disciplines you, as a man disciplines his son. Therefore, obey the commands of your God, walk in his way, and consider him your brother, because your God You are being taken to a good land, a land of rivers of water, valleys, and deep springs flowing from the mountains. It is a land of wheat vines, figs, coals, and olive trees, and honey. There will be no dearth of goods in that land, nor will you have valleys of any material. The stones there are made of iron, and you will be able to mine copper in the mountains. You will be satisfied. You will be filled, and you will be blessed by the One who has given you this good land. So beware, lest you forget the Lord your God and give up your heart to the laws and regulations that I am telling you today. Lest you eat and are satisfied, and build good houses and live in them, and your cattle, sheep, and goats multiply, and your gold and silver, and all your wealth increase, then pride will enter your heart, and you will forget the Lord your God. Then who has brought you out to the house of slavery, a friendly land, and through a great and terrible wilderness, where your head is burdened with suffering. There is a scorpion and in a land of waterless happiness, he brought out water for you from the rock of shine and fed you spells in a net and your ancestors did not know you so that they may humble you and test you and do good to you in the end and it should not happen that you think that this wealth has been obtained by me only and by my worship only, but you should remember the Lord your God because he is the one who gives you strength in getting wealth so that he may fulfill the promise which he swore to your ancestors as it is evident today. If you forget your God and turn after other gods and worship them and give thanks to them, then I warn you today that you are destroyed. The nation which has been destroyed by this understanding is going to be destroyed or you too will be destroyed because you do not accept the weight of your God.
