निर्गमन के अध्याय 9

फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा फिरौन के पास जाकर का की इबी हम का परमेश्वर यहोवा तो उसे इस प्रकार कहता है कि मेरी प्रजा के लोग को जाने दे कि मेरी उपासना कर और यदि तू उन्हें जाने ना दे और आप भी पड़े रहा तो सुन तेरे जो घोड़े कधे उठ गए बेल भेड़ बकरी आदि पशु मैदान में है उन पर यहोवा का हाथ ऐसा पड़े की बहुत भारी होगी और यहोवा इजरायल के पशुओं में और मित्रों के पशुओं में ऐसा अंतर करेगा कि जो इजरायल के हैं उनमें से कोई भी ना मारेगा फिर यह हुआ ने यह कहकर एक समय ठहराएगा कि मैं यह काम इस देश में कल करूंगा दूसरी दिन यहोवा ने ऐसा ही किया और मित्र के तो सब पशु मर गए परंतु इसराइलियों का एक भी पशु ना मार और फिरौन ने लोगों को भेज आप पर इसराइलियों के पशुओं में से एक भी नहीं मारा था तो भी फिरौन का मन शुभ हो गया और उनमें से उन लोगों को जाने ना दिया फिर यहोवा ने मूसा और अरुण से कहा कि तुम दोनों भट्टी में से एक-एक मुट्ठी राख ले लो और मूसा उसे फिरौन के सामान्य आकाश की ओर उड़ा दे तब महसूस मधुर होकर सारे मित्र देश में मनुष्यों और पशुओं दोनों पर पोकलेन और फोड़े बन जाएंगे सोए भट्टी में की राख लेकर फिरौन के संभावना खड़े हुए और मूसा ने उसे आकाश की ओर उड़ा दिया और वह मनुष्य और पशुओं दोनों पर फॉर्म और फोड़े मान गए और उन पौधों के कारण जादूगर मूसा की संभावना खड़े नारा सके क्योंकि वह फोड़ जैसे सब मित्रों के वैसे ही जादूगरों के भी निकले तब यहोवा ने फिरौन के मन को कठोर कर दिया और जैसा यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा था उसने उसकी ना सुनी फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा विहान को तड़के उठकर फिरौन के सामने खड़ा होकर और उस के इस प्राणियों का परमेश्वर यहोवा इस प्रकार कहता है कि मेरी प्रजा के लोग को जाने दे कि वह मेरे उपवास करें नहीं तो आपकी बार मैं तुझ पर और तेरे कर्मचारियों और तेरी प्रजा सब प्रकार की उत्पत्ति डालूंगा जिसे तू जान ले सारी पृथ्वी पर मेरी तुल्य कोई दूसरा नहीं मैं तो अभी हाथ बढ़ाकर तुझे और तेरे प्रजा को मेरी से मारा होता और तू पृथ्वी पर से सत्यानाश हो गया हो परंतु सचमुच मैं इस प्रकार तुझे बनाए रखा कि तुम अपना समर्थ दिखा और अपना नाम सारी पृथ्वी पर प्रसिद्ध करूं क्या तू आप भी मेरी प्रजा के सामने अपने आपको बड़ा संभालता है और उन्हें जाने नहीं देता सुनकर माइक समय ऐसी भारी-भारी भोले वर्षाओं की जिनके तुल्य मित्र के न्यू पढ़ने के दिन लेकर आप तक कभी नहीं पड़े तो आप लोग को भेज कर अपने पशुओं और मैदान में जो कुछ तेरा है सबको कुर्ती पर आरती पहले तो नहीं तो जितने मनुष्य पर पशु मैदान रहे और घर में इकट्ठे ना किया जाए उन पर बोले गिरे और वह हमारे जाएं इसलिए फिरौन के कर्मचारियों में से जो लोग यहोवा के वचन का भाव मानते हैं उन्होंने तो अपने अपने सेवकों और पशुओं को घर में धाप दिया और जिन्होंने यहोवा के वचन पर मन ना लगाया उन्होंने अपने सेवा को और पशुओं को मैदान में रहने दिया तभी हुआ ने मूसा से कहा अपना हाथ आकाश की ओर बढ़ा और सारे मित्र देश में मनुष्यों पशुओं और खेतों में सारी उपज पर खुलेगी रे तब मूसा ने अपना लाठी आकाश की ओर उड़ा और यहोवा मेवा गरजने वाले बरसने लगा और आज पृथ्वी पर आती रहे इस प्रकार युवा ने मित्र देश पर ओले बरसाए जो बोले गिरते थे उनके हाथ आज भी मिली हुई और वह वाले इतने भारी थे कि आपसी मित्र देश बसा था तब से मित्र भर से ऐसे बोल कभी ना गिरे थे इसलिए मित्र भारतीय खेतों में क्या मनुष्य क्या पशु इतने थे सब बोलो से मारे गए और बोलो से खेती की सारी उपज नष्ट हो गई और मैदान के सब वृक्ष भी टूट गया केवल गोसेन देश में जहां इसराइल बरसाते थे वह ले नहीं गिरे तब फिरौन ने मूसा और हारुन को बुला भेजा और उनसे कहा कि इस बार मैंने पाप किया है यह हुआ धर्मी है और और मेरी प्रजा धार्मिक है मेघना पर गर्जन वालों को बरसाना तो बहुत हो गया आप भविष्य में यह भगवान से विनती करो तब मैं तुम लोगों को जाने दूंगा और तुम ना रुकोगे मूसा ने उनसे कहा नगर में निकलते ही मैं यहोवा की ओर हाथ फैलाया तब बादल का गरजना बंद हो गया और बोले फिर ना गिरे इससे तू जान लगा कि पृथ्वी युवा की ही है तो भी मैं जानता हूं कि ना तो तू और ना तेरे कर्मचारी युवा परमेश्वर का भाई माना सन और जब वह वाले से मार जाए क्योंकि जबकि वाले निकल चुकी थी और शाम के फूल लगे हुए थे पर गेहूं और कठिया गेहूं जो बड़े न थे इस कारण वह मारे गए तब मूसा ने फिर उनके पास से नगर में बाहर निकल आया हुआ कि वह हाथ फैलाया तब बादल का गरजना वालों का बरसाना बंद हुआ और फिर बहुत में भूमि पर न पड़ा यह देखकर की मेवा और फूलों और बादल का गरजना बंद हो गया फिरौन ने अपने कर्मचारियों समेत फिर अपने मन को कठोर करके पाप किया और फिरोन का मन हटीला होता गया और जब से इसराइल को जाने ना दिया जैसा कि युवा मूसा ने कुंवारा का हलवाया था

Then the Lord said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh and say, 'This is what the Lord, our God, says to him: Let my people go and worship me. If you refuse to let them go and remain silent, then behold, the hand of the Lord will fall upon your horses, goats, and other animals that are in the field, and it will be very heavy.' The Lord will make a distinction between the animals of Israel and the animals of the friends, so that none of the Israelites will be killed. Then Moses appointed a time, saying, 'I will do this in this land tomorrow.' The next day the Lord did the same. All the animals of the friends died, but not a single animal of the Israelites was killed. Pharaoh sent people to attack him, but not a single animal of the Israelites was killed. Yet Pharaoh's heart was pleased and he did not let them go. Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "Take a handful of ashes from the furnace, and Moses should scatter it toward the sky over Pharaoh. Then the ashes will become sweet and boils will appear on both men and animals throughout the friendly land." Moses took the ashes from the furnace and stood before Pharaoh and threw it towards the sky and it caused boils and boils on both men and animals. Because of those boils the magicians were able to curse Moses because boils appeared on the magicians just like on all the magicians. Then the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh and he did not listen to what the Lord had said to Moses. Then the Lord said to Moses, get up early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh and say to him, "Thus says the Lord, the God of all his creatures: Let my people go and fast for me. Otherwise I will bring down on you and on your servants and on your people all kinds of plagues, which you will know. There is no one like me in all the earth. If I had just stretched out my hand and struck you and your people with my blow, you would have been destroyed from the face of the earth. But I have kept you in such a way that you showed your power and made your name famous throughout the earth. Do you also hold yourself high before my people and do not let them go? Hearing this, Mike said to Moses, "When the rain fell, it would have been likened to a heavy downpour like the rain of fire." If you never received it on the day of reading the New Year, then send your people and kill your cattle and everything you have in the field. Otherwise, let the hail fall on all the men and animals who are in the field and are not gathered in the house, and let them go. Therefore, those of Pharaoh's servants who listened to the word of the Lord, they forced their servants and cattle into the house, and those who did not pay heed to the word of the Lord, they let their servants and cattle remain in the field. Then Moses said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand towards the sky and let the hail fall on the men, animals and all the produce in the fields in the entire land of Friendship." Then Moses waved his staff towards the sky and the Lord started raining hailstones like thunder and it kept falling on the earth. Thus, the hailstones rained down on Friendship. The hailstones that fell are still in their hands today, and they were so heavy that such hailstones had never fallen on Friendship since the time the Friendship country was settled. Therefore, whether it was men or animals in the fields, all were killed by the hailstones. The entire crop of the fields was destroyed by the hailstones and all the trees in the field were also uprooted. When the rain did not fall in the land of Goshen where the Israelites were praying, Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said to them, "This time I have sinned. This is righteousness, and my people are righteous. It is enough to rain down with thunder. In the future, pray to God for this, and I will let you go, and you will not be stopped." Moses said to them, "As soon as I went out into the city, I stretched out my hands toward the Lord. The thunder stopped. He said, 'If it does not fall again, you will know that the earth belongs to the wind.' I know that neither you nor your servants are the wind, the brother of God. When the wind struck, the evening flowers were already there, but the wheat and the spelt wheat, which were not yet ripe, were struck.' Moses went out from them into the city and stretched out his hands. The thunder stopped falling. And when the rain did not fall on the ground, and the rain did not fall on the ground. When Pharaoh and his servants hardened their hearts, they sinned. And Pharaoh's heart grew squeamish and he refused to let Israel go, as young Moses had done with the virgin.
